Deadgirl takes high school horror films to new levels of depravity -- which is to say this movie looks like it's got lots of potential. A couple high school students wander into what looks like an abandoned building, only to find a beautiful girl shackled to table. It turns out the girl is not dead and she soon becomes entangled in a perverse cycle of exploitation that is likely to end in a lot of violence. The new animated film Planet 51 has its first full-length trailer out. This movie's definitely kid-friendly but it looks like it could still be a lot of fun. A U.S. astronaut touches down on an alien planet, thinking he's the first to discover it, only to find it's already thoroughly civilized. He teams up with a kid alien who helps him try to get back to his space station before it goes back to Earth without him. This might not be up to the standards of Pixar, but it looks alright. A lot of people think Ashton Kutcher is just a douchebag who got famous for being a douchebag, but in his new movie, Spread, which appears to be somewhat autobiographical, it seems he actually got famous for sleeping around. Kutcher plays a womanizer named Nikki, a bad boy who breaks hearts left and right. But, lo and behold, he meets a woman who challenges him and discovers real love. Yes, you've probably seen this story before, but this one's based on the real life of the king of douchebags. Check it out after the jump.

There are trailers and then there are trailers, and then there is the trailer for Robogeisha. Is it sci-fi? Is it a horror flick? Is it a comedy? It is all of these things, and it is more. But more than this Robogeisha is just really frickin' weird. If you're not in stitches by the end of this trailer and in awe of Robogeisha then you just have bad taste, end of story. Chris Pine, otherwise known to the world as the new Captain Kirk, wasn't a complete newbie to films when he starred in this year's Star Trek. He also made a horror movie called Carriers which looks like it's finally going to see the light of day after spending a long time on Paramount's shelves. A car full of people tries to excape a deadly virus, which is apparently spread by blood and seems to turn people into...zombies. Yeah, nothing new in the premise, but the trailer looks pretty freaky all the same. Check it out after the jump.

Matt Damon is taking another swing at comedies in Steven Soderbergh's new film that has, until now, flown under the radar: The Informant. Damon plays a vice president at a large agri-business company that the feds are trying to bust, and they rope Damon into helping them out. It looks like Damon put on some pounds to play this part and, though the trailer is pretty generic, it looks like there might actually be a hilarious movie lurking underneath. It's always nice when Jon Favreau and Vince Vaughn are paired up, and this time we get Jason Bateman too. Couples Retreat, which Favreau wrote, takes place on an island that resembles paradise, with three guys who are all married to similarly perfect women. But all is not well in paradise, hence their going on a retreat to paradise to fix their relationship woes. This is a romantic comedy a guy might actually be able to get behind. Ricky Gervais, of the U.K. version of The Office fame, has a new movie, The Invention of Lying. He wrote, directed, and stars in the film as a man who lives in a world where nobody ever lies about anything. One day he realizes that if he lies he can get away with all kinds of trouble, and he's soon on his way to getting beautiful women and riches. This is getting a lot of great buzz, and the fact that Gervais is the genius behind it spells good things for this movie. Watch the trailer after the jump.

For a while it sounded like Duncan Jones, the director of the new independent sci-fi film Moon, would be going on to do a submarine film titled Escape from the Deep. But his plans have changed. Instead he's delving into a Blade Runner-like world.

It's set in the year 2019 when an epidemic has spread and turned almost everyone on the planet into a bloodsucker. Writer/director/comedian Bobcat Goldthwait is known for pushing the envelope about as far over the edge as he can get away with, and his new movie, World's Greatest Dad, definitely goes to very dark places. This movie is a comedy, but the subject matter, characters, and main plot reveal (which is wisely not revealed in this trailer) make for one extremely black comedy. I can't remember the last time Robin Williams played a role so family-unfriendly, which is awesome. Take a look at the red band trailer after the jump.
