Like any modern end-of-the-world flick worth its salt, 2012 employs its fair share of CGI to bring the scale of destruction to an epic level. During the height of the mayhem, a limo makes a harrowing escape from a world which is literally falling apart around it. But how'd they get it to look so convincing?

Lest you feared Nicolas Cage had disappeared from cinema, we've got the trailer for Season of the Witch, in which he plays a 14th century knight assigned to bring a witch to a monastery. Cage's accent (or lack of one) is troubling, and the trailer feels muddled, but there are some very creepy visuals of plague-infested monks that will give you chills.

Amanda Seyfried is going to milk the date flick movies for all they're worth, as the trailer for Letters to Juliet proves. However, the good news is that if your girlfriend asks you to go to this movie, you can simply play this trailer for her: you'll have both seen the entire film. This is nothing if not comprehensive, so why not save a few bucks?

When high school student and comic book lover Dave Lizewski decides that he's going to become a superhero (despite the fact that he has no superpowers), he hooks up with a group of equally insane, if better trained, vigilantes. This could be one of the best comic book movies and comedies to come out next year.

Gamers who've loyally played the table top fantasy game Warhammer 40,000 will be glad to know that the live action/CG movie is well on its way. The film now has a writer and a director, and the writer -- Dan Abnett -- sat down recently to discuss his role in creating the movie. Hit the jump to hear what Abnett has to say.

A new trailer is out for Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief, and in this one we get to see a lot more than we have in any of the past trailers. Percy discovers his new powers as a demi-god son of Poseidon -- and he gets some pretty cool weapons, too. We get to see the people in Oher's adoptive family that the movie's characters are based on, and you'll be amazed at how closely the actors resemble their real life counterparts.

Jeff Bridges plays a broken down country music singer who's been down on his luck in Crazy Heart. He's had a lot of marriages and a lot of bumps in the road, so when he meets a journalist (Maggie Gyllenhaal) who's interested in his life, things start to look up. There's a lot of buzz already that this might get Bridges nominated for an Oscar.

Miley Cyrus is doing the unimaginable and playing a character other than one completely based on herself in The Last Song. In other words, she's a pop star not playing a pop star, even if her male counterpart is the same man-droid clone who gets paired up with her every time. Make your little sister happy and let her drag you to this one. She'll owe you.

Demi Moore loses her hip, Johnny Depp uses money to cope with his pain, and Dublin fines U2 for noise violations...this is your life, Mantenna!

A new trailer for Disney's Oceans documentary is here and it's pretty amazing. This is a sequel of sorts to their first film, Earth, which followed various animals from all over the planet, including the oceans. This will focus only on the oceans, and the film they've captured of these animals is incredible.

When a normal woman and a normal man have a baby, they expect to have a normal family. But baby Ricky turns out to have some very magical abilities, even if he hasn't learned how to control them yet. This looks like a charming little comedy, and you barely notice the French subtitles.

Big Mike comes from a past of violence and poverty until Leigh Anne (Sandra Bullock) takes him into her home and makes him a part of her family. Once Mike joins the football team everything changes.
